About

The Kit Review

We're a small group of developers and writers who care about clear, practical, honest engineering writing. No fluff, no sponsored posts, no paywalls.

Our mission

We believe great engineering knowledge should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to publish writing that is clear, practical, and honest, the kind that actually helps developers build better software.

Whether you're shipping your first React component or designing a distributed system, there's something here for you. Every piece is written by engineers who write code every day.

Our story

The Kit Review started in 2024 as a side project by a group of developers frustrated with the complexity of existing blogging platforms. We wanted something that combined the simplicity of Medium with the power of a full CMS, without the vendor lock-in.

Today we publish in-depth writing about web development, design, DevOps, and AI. Our goal is to help developers at every level build better software, one post at a time.

Every article is written by engineers who use these tools daily. No fluff, no sponsored content, just honest advice from the trenches.
